FAQs
1. How far in advance should I book the machine?
We recommend booking at least 1–2 weeks in advance, especially for weekends or holidays. Last-minute rentals are welcome based on availability!
2. Do you deliver and set it up?
Yes! We offer delivery, setup, and pickup. We'll also walk you through how to use it so you're all set. Delivery is free within the service area; additional fees apply beyond that.
4. How long does it take to freeze the first batch?
Usually 30–45 minutes. For best results, we recommend starting the machine at least 1 hour before your event begins.
5. Can I use my own mix or ingredients?
No. Our mixes are specially formulated for our machines.
Using anything other than the provided mix and alcohol can damage the equipment.
🔧 Important: Customers are liable for any damage caused by using unauthorized ingredients or foreign substances.
6. How many drinks does one mix make?
One batch makes about 5 gallons, which is roughly 70–80
7. What kind of power does the machine need?
Our machines plug into a standard 120V outlet. It should be on a dedicated circuit to avoid tripping breakers. No extension cords unless it's heavy-duty (ask us for details).
8. What if I want to serve non-alcoholic drinks?
No problem! Our machines work great with non-alcoholic slushies too. You can order kid-friendly flavors like cherry, blue raspberry, and lemonade.
9. How do I clean the machine?
You don’t! Cleaning is included in the rental. Just turn off the machine after your event and we’ll handle the rest when we pick it up.
10. What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
We get it—plans change. Just give us at least 48 hours' notice; remember there is a $40 non-refundable fee.
11. Must we be present for returns/pickups of the equipment?
Yes! We prefer someone be present during pickup to ensure all equipment is accounted for and to check for any damage. If no one is present and the equipment is not accessible, we will charge a $50 return trip fee to come back at a later time.
12. What happens to any leftover margarita mix?
Any leftover mix in the machine will be poured into a clean container and left with you to enjoy after your event — it's yours!
Please note: For safety reasons, Los Jefes Margarita Machine Rentals cannot accommodate deliveries or setups involving stairs. Thank you for your understanding as we keep the good times flowing smoothly!
